Humanized design of Control System
Industrial PC and intelligent industrial control module provide more reliable control. With Windows XP based operation interface and humanized UI interface design, it is easy to operate. The operation interface can be shifted between English and Chinese. The process of welding and desoldering is automatic. The process of BGA welding and desoldering is indicated by software, with distinct operation steps.
Accurate Temperature Control System
With 3 independent temperature area controls, intelligent PID algorithm, the system can control the temperature error within ± 1 degree. The stepless speed regulation of the fan is controlled by software, without needing any external source of air. With mass BGA temperature curve memory, it offers quick setting and index search of the temperature curves and supports automatic analysis of the temperature curves. A powerful cross-flow fan is used to cool the PCB board automatically after desoldering and soldering, preventing PCB from deformation to ensure the welding effect.
Convenientvisual alignment system
It supports BGA optical alignment and is driven by the electric motor. It is equipped with a CCD high definition color imaging system, which can offer beam spilit, amplification, fine-adjustment, color difference regulation and other functions, obtaining higher resolution images. The camera is capable of rotary positioning and alignment. Through the software interface or operation panel, you can adjust the zoom or focus, you can also adjust the light source brightness, making you operate it more easily. The build-in vacuum pump can automatically suck the BGA chip through the vacuum suction pen.
Precisemechanical parts
V-groove, PCB support, and micrometer offer X, Y fine adjustment. The pressure of the precise suction nozzle can be controlled within a tiny range. The nozzle of the top heating head is capable of 360 degree rotation, which is more convenient for users to weld the BGA chip at different angles. The precise guide rail is used to move it in both x and y directions. The top heater device and mounting head are designed in an integrated way, driven by a step motor, which can accurately control the site and hotspots.
Perfectsafety design
The BGA Rework Station offers fan and thermocouple failure protections. It also offers the over-temperature protection, which can cut off power supply automatically when the temperature exceeds the maximum data. When you input the data, the software can verify automatically to make sure the input data is correct. The top heater will stop when collision happens,, with no damage to the PCB board, suitable for all kinds of BGA repairs.
Basic functions
The software interface offers the multilevel menu containing “welding”, “desoldering” and “parameter settings”, easier operation and maintenance. BGA welding adopts 3 independent temperature area controls. In the 1st and 2nd temperature areas, it can offer 8 sections of temperature increase(decrease) and thermostatical controls. In the 3rd temperature area, a large area IR heater can preheat the PCB board fully to ensure the uniform expansion coefficient,avoiding deformation of the board. 4 external temperature test interfaces can offer precise measurement of temperatures at different test points of BGA or PCB at the same time. V-groove is used for rapid, easy and accurate PCB positioning, suitable for positioning of all kinds of PCBs. The top heater device and mounting head designed in an integrated way, driven by an electric motor and controlled by an optical sensor, can accurately control the site and hotspots. The X, Y axis and angleθare fine adjusted with a micrometer, offering precise positioning, with the alignment accuracy within ± 0.01mm. A powerful cross-flow fan is used to cool the PCB automatically after desoldering and welding, preventing PCB from deformation to ensure the welding effect.

The BGA Rework Station is suitable to welding of different BGA chips, including CCGA, BGA, QFN, CSP, LGA, Micro SMD MLF, etc., both lead and lead free.
